With effect from 1 January 2015, the individual fee for an international application or Subsequent Designation will be increased from 365 CHF a 373 CHF for one class and from 182 CHF a 187 CHF for each additional class. Where the mark is a collective or certification mark, the fee will increase from 486 CHF to 497 CHF for one class and from 243 CHF to 248 CHF for each additional class.
The renewal fee will be increased from 199 CHF to 204 CHF for one class and from 97 CHF to 99 CHF for each additional class. Where payment is received within the period of grace, the amount will increase from 272 CHF to 278 CHF.
This announced the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on 2 December 2014.
The modifications concern international applications which are handed in through the Madrid Protocol.
